I have a holistic approach when it comes to working with people and a commitment to live by the principals I use to guide my clients. I pride myself on practicing with integrity and non-judgment. I believe in helping others achieve their optimal health and well-being as well as promoting respect and safety. Working towards the empowerment of individuals, families and groups is a value at the center of my practice.
Experience:
- Clinical Social Work since 2001 in a variety of settings. Brianna’s work began in a community mental health center, she then moved to working with the homeless population in the inner city as well as in corrections counseling. During graduate school Brianna worked as a family therapist in an adolescent day treatment program and provided psychotherapy in a large hospital setting. Since 2006, Brianna has been providing Individual, Child and Family and Group therapy in a community mental health setting.
Focus Area:
- Treatment of mental health disorders including; anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, ADHD, and reactive attachment. Specialize in trauma, sexual abuse recovery and drug affected children. Co-facilitate the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program. Specific therapies/theories include; Mindfulness, EMDR, DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Attachment and Strengths based.
